Now Hiring - Retail Sales Associate in Bend, OR

Looking for FT sales associate for an upscale furniture & home décor store that has been around since 1981. Must be punctual, self-motivated, personable, creative, presentable, & professional. We work closely with many high-end clients so looking presentable & being professional is a must! Village Interiors is set up into different vignettes with furniture and home accessories so creativity & an interest and/or passion for design & decorating is very important. We want our clients to feel as if they’re walking into their own home for ideas. Sales associates work together assisting clients & vendors therefore teamwork is a must. Being on time is mandatory. Having somewhat of an open availability is a huge bonus for covering shifts if that comes up. Loyalty is incredibly important, a lot of time & training goes into working here so we are looking for someone long term. If this sounds like something you’re interested in, we’d love to meet you!

Must be able to lift 30lbs.+

Having Social Media Skills is a plus.

Responsibilities:

• Learn about products and services.
• Become proficient at selling goods and services to customers.
• Know how to run a POS System.
• Interacting and assisting customers in a furniture retail sales environment.
• Determining needs and advising customers on their purchases.
• Communicating with customers after the sale.
• Helping to maintain a clean, orderly working environment.

Position starts in August.

Monday through Friday 10-6

Also have a position for Fridays and Saturdays and availability to do fill ins.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour
